92 DOLPHIN DEATHS - largest “single-species event” of its kind on record in the Northeastern US. Related to the "strange sounds"?!

This should get more exposure, something is going on again with the Dolphins.

Why are scientists always so baffled lately???

"The unexplained beachings of scores of dolphins over the past month along Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is the largest “single-species event” of its kind on record in the northeastern United States, a marine mammal specialist said Monday.

A total of 129 common dolphins have been found since the animals began stranding themselves in early January, said Katie Moore, marine mammal rescue and research manager for the International Fund for Animal Welfare."

Then I came across this in the article:

"...while climate or other external factors such as acoustic disorientation can’t be ruled out, “we don’t have a single answer.”

“As time goes on we can put more of the pieces of the puzzle together,” she said. “The sad fact in these events is that we often never come up with that answer, and that is incredibly frustrating.”

Is the Dolphin freakout possibly related to all the odd sounds occurring lately people have been hearing worldwide?

Is something acoustic happening under the sea/earth's crust and causing them to be completely disoriented and messing with their natural navigation systems?

It would not surprise me if they are somehow related, but considering the scientific community lately can't seem to think outside of the box I doubt we will get any real answers from them anytime soon.

What are your thoughts?
