So what does it mean?
Remember when Terence McKenna said with his Timewave Zero theory that the point goes off the chart and ends at exactly December 21st, 2012, same with the Mayan Calendar and I-Ching?
If not reference this video first:
He proposed that it is possibly when man invents time-travel or we enter another dimensional state of awareness permanently.
Now a Doubly-even self-dual linear binary error-correcting block code," first invented by Claude Shannon in the 1940's, has been discovered embedded WITHIN the equations of superstring theory!!!
THIS VIDEO IS INSANE!
So as we are on the cusp of figuring out our lives are just a simulation, Dec 21 2012 is coming soon!
Perhaps that was designed to be the end of our simulation, as it nearly coincides with us in our simulation becoming aware that this is a simulation.
The catch is that if we are being simulated, the simulating world isn't "material" either. Quantum info theory shows us that qubits can never be simulated by classical bits, meaning that the "next world" up top would be constructed from quantum info as well.
Quantum info is pure info however, and is non-local, and hence, immaterial. Penrose further showed this info to be Platonic -ideas in essence.
Meaning oddly enough that the "real" world may be in something like a Mind.
So what mind are we all just a dream from???
Godel's theorem is established mathematics. It has nothing to do with just finding a numerical code in nature.
Which means we have to dispense with the philosophic basis on which science rests, and thus we have to dispense with science itself, and all of your arguments which you think are scientific. Meaning you've just self-detonated your own position.
Yes it does. The Penrose-Lucas theorem showed that for Godel's theorem to be true Platonic forms must exist.
Check out this recent full episode on the BBC of the possibility of Parallel Universes/M-Theory, it all ties in with this as well:
When you end within the simulation as it is presented now, you would just transfer into a different simulation or "program" so to speak. Since energy cannot be destroyed only transferred to a different form.
Would you retain any of your consciousness, thoughts, and things you have learned while in this program? I guess that is the age old question...
Now when the simulation itself ends, that may be entirely up to the grand programmer.
Dreams are the minds way of "rebooting" and learning while placing the human consciousness in different dream scenarios, that WE create. A natural backup in case our physical shell ceases to exist.
